History
Incorporated in 1974, the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association is Oklahoma's trade association for the hotel and lodging industry representing $7 billion in state business sales, more than $7 billion in guest spending, and $2 billion in hotel industry wages and salaries. OHLA members are professionals in all types of lodging businesses throughout the state of Oklahoma.
With a strong presence at the state capitol, the OHLA constantly monitors regulatory and legislative issues and advocates on behalf of the lodging industry both on a state and national level. Other member services include industry-specific education, certification in proper food safety and alcohol service and offers workforce development programs that include opportunities for students with physical or intellectual disabilities. Through our exclusive partners, members have access to discounts on services such as bank card processing and group insurance programs. OHLA also co-hosts the state's largest hospitality industry expos. OHLA is the exclusive partner state association of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), the voice of the $483 billion lodging industry, employing more than 8 million American jobs. The association is managed in partnership with the Oklahoma Restaurant Association and the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association. |
