Incorporated in 1981, the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association is Oklahoma's trade association for the lodging industry. Representing more than 200 members, the OH&LA actively provides operational, educational, technical, marketing and communications support as well as legislative representation on behalf of Oklahoma's entire lodging industry. The OH&LA is a state partner of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), the voice of the $137 billion lodging industry, employing millions of hotel property workers.
OH&LA is recognized as a prominent and effective organization in Oklahoma. With a strong presence at the state capitol, the OH&LA constantly monitors regulatory and legislative issues. Member services include advocacy for the lodging industry, educational seminars, networking events, bank card processing, group insurance programs, a video and reference lending library, food safety and alcohol server training, a job bank, and the state's largest trade show.
The Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association develops the membership to do together for the industry what cannot be done individually.
