History
Incorporated in 1974, the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association is Oklahoma's trade association for the lodging industry. Representing more than 200 members, the OH&LA actively provides operational, educational, technical, marketing and communications support as well as legislative representation on behalf of Oklahoma's entire lodging industry. The OH&LA is a state partner of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), the voice of the $137 billion lodging industry, employing millions of hotel property workers.

OH&LA is recognized as a prominent and effective organization in Oklahoma. With a strong presence at the state capitol, the OH&LA constantly monitors regulatory and legislative issues. Member services include advocacy for the lodging industry, educational seminars, networking events, bank card processing, group insurance programs, a video and reference lending library, food safety and alcohol server training, a job bank, and the state's largest trade show.

OH&LA will offer Certification in Hotel Administration (CHA®). The CHA is the most prestigious certification available to hotel general managers and hospitality executives. It identifies the recipient as being part of an elite group of hospitality professionals who, by combining education and experience with dedication to the industry, have achieved a high level of expertise.
