History

Incorporated in 1974, the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association is Oklahoma's trade association for the lodging industry representing $12 billion in business sales, more than $6 billion dollars in guest spending and $2 billion in hotel industry wages and salaries.

With a strong presence at the state capitol, the OH&LA constantly monitors regulatory and legislative issues, as well as advocating on behalf of the lodging industry both on a state and national level. Other member services include industry-specific education and certification in proper food safety and service of alcohol. OH&LA holds industry events, offers workforce support, as well as offering services like bank card processing, group insurance programs and hosting the state's largest industry trade Expo.

OH&LA is the exclusive partner state association of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), the voice of the $483 billion lodging industry, employing more than 8 million American jobs.
