Jim Hopper
President & CEO

Represents industry views and interests before state legislative and regulatory agencies. Coordinates with officers, board of directors and contract lobbyist. Serves as industry spokesperson and coordinates with American Hotel & Lodging Association on federal issues. Also serves as President & CEO for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association.
Debra Bailey, CAE
Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for fiscal management of the association, directing staff activities, office operations, and communication with officers, and contract lobbyist as needed.  Also serves as CEO for the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association.
Patti Colley, IOM, CMP
Chief Strategy Officer

Coordinates with OH&LA Board of Directors and directs communications, activities and maintains corporate documents. Directs all association meetings/events, and partnerships. Manages activities and serves as Officer for the Oklahoma Chapter of Women in Lodging (OKWIL). Also serves as the first point of contact as state partner for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and serves as CSO for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association.
Jillian Coursey
Manager, Training & Accounting

Manages all ServSafe® sanitation training classes and other educational training opportunities. Also manages ORA’s accounts receivable.
Linda Etherton
Director, ORA Expo

Manages association graphic design projects, as well as the OH&LA Stars of the Industry Awards. Point of contact for Vendor Expo including booth sales, logistics, and exhibitor relations. Also serves as Director, Convention of the Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo. 
Collin Graham
Director, Membership

Primary contact for the industry as it relates to member enrollment, retention, research and discount program enrollment, as well as Alcohol Compliance Training and regulatory and operational research for members. Directs activities surrounding the development of preferred member programs.
Theresa Martin
Manager, Meetings & Events

Primary member contact for event registration. Assists CSO in managing association meetings and events. Coordinates activities of the Oklahoma Chapter of Women in Lodging (OKWIL).
Cameryn Rose
Manager, Communications & Marketing
Initiates and manages all industry communications and all online publications including the InnSider e-Newsletter Concierge e-blasts, and social media. Also manages all web content, marketing, advertising, and photography.


 
Chandy Rice, CAE
Director, Education

Directs Hospitality Student programs including Hospitality Tourism Management Program and ProStart®, the nationally recognized culinary and hospitality certifications in high schools and technology centers within the state, as well as OSU HTM. Works to provide job placement and mentoring activities within the industry. Is the primary point of contact for activities involving the Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation.

Coordinator, Sonic/ServSafe®

Maintains all records for Sonic ServSafe® classes and coordinates Alcohol Compliance Education “ACE” training classes.

OKWIL is excited to bring you our next event on October 2, 2019. We will be holding a Community Outreach Day at The Homeless Alliance in Oklahoma City. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community! The Homeless Alliance works to end long-term homelessness in Oklahoma City by building the capacity of the community through collaboration with other agencies, identifying and filling gaps in homeless services, bringing nationally-recognized best practices to the community, and working to build a system that is more efficient and caring!
OKWIL Event: The Gift of "Done!"

On May 30th, we had a great time at our OKWIL Event: Finish: Giving Yourself the Gift of Done! Thirty of our members enjoyed learning from Bonnie Ann Cain-Wood on how to complete tasks at work efficiently, without adding additional pressure to their lives. Chronic projects starters learned about the importance of removing pressure from their projects, so they can ultimately finish and improve their overall productivity. We enjoyed seeing all of you, and look forward to our next OKWIL event!

The dates and featured chefs for Odyssey de Culinaire 2019 have been set! The first dinner will be Thursday, July 18 at The Bond in Tulsa, and the second dinner will be Thursday, July 25 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City. We hope to see you at one or both of these unique dinners benefitting the Oklahoma ProStart® program!

The OH&LA held its annual Lodging Summit, including the Vendor Expo and Stars of the Industry Awards, on January 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn Edmond - and it was a great day by every measure.
